Sister Nancy To Headline Friends & Whānau Sunday Session

Following hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement of Jamaican dancehall / reggae legend Sister Nancy's upcoming return to Aotearoa, Friends & Whānau have revealed the "queen of the dancehall" will be headlining a very special Sunday Session at Pōneke's San Fran in April, performing alongside France's DJ Legal Shot (of Legal Shot Sound). Revered by multiple generations for her towering 1982 classic 'Bam Bam' – cited by Billboard as "a strong contender for the title of most sampled reggae song of all time" – Sister Nancy's iconic hit has been sampled by Kanye West on 'Famous' and JAY-Z on 'Bam' (featuring Damian Marley).
