Peach Milk Returns With 'WONK' EP

Peach Milk Returns With 'WONK' EP

C.C. / Thursday 12th March, 2020 12:16PM

Tāmaki Makaurau electronic artist Peach Milk aka Madison Eve (formerly of Guardian Singles and DJ PG/VG), has dropped her three track WONK EP – "a small selection of wonky shit made between 2018-2019" – today via Pōneke underground club champs Buzzy Point (BZP). Peach Milk's first collection since 2016's Finally EP goes deep with gently assertive, kaleidoscoping techno / house rhythms, near-subliminal synth melodies and an ever-engaging array of sound shapes – inducing alpha wave dream-states ideal for both dancing all night and kicking it with a coffee (or hot bev of choice) during the daylight hours. A live force over Aotearoa's summer festival / party season, you can catch the producer playing her last show for a while (before a much deserved break) this weekend at 121 Festival at Tauherenikau Racecourse. Peach Milk opened up about the track selection process for her WONK EP...

"When I decided to do this release with BZP I waded through my almost-finished project / tracks that I still liked and picked these to finish off and go with cause I found them the most cohesive / having a common theme, which is that they are all pretty wonky."
