Watch Dirty Pixels' Video For 'Julipa'

Tāmaki Makaurau's Dirty Pixels have re-emerged with a romantic and gruesome clip for their sparkling tune 'Julipa', originally released back in mid-2019. Directed by Callum Devlin (Hans Pucket, Sports Team) and produced by Annabel Kean (Assistant Editor of this very site), the new video showcases a blossoming beachside relationship between a young chap and a ghoulish creature of the deep played by Alice May Connolly, looking like a cross between a Wilberforce (from NZ kidult sci fi classic Under The Mountain) and an extra from Lucio Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters. The clip also features Dirty Pixels performing their tune in to their hips in the sea against the shadow of Rangitoto – I wouldn't put my own keyboard in this kind of danger but YMMV.
