Diggy Dupé Drops Video For 'Keke Boy'
"A celebration of Niuean language and Central Auckland slang" the slick new visuals for Diggy Dupé's earthshaking track 'Keke Boy' are quite frankly Diggy Dope. Mixed and produced by SWIDT's SmokeyGotBeatz, Tāmaki Makaurau bird song and rumbles of Cook Island drums morph into the latest cut from the New Zealand Music Award finalist. The lead single from Diggy Dupé's forthcoming debut full length album, 'Keke Boy' is a hip-hop banger incorporating Island language to inspire the "sense of pride and belonging when other Pacific Islanders hear their native tongue on a song other than an old hymn". Take a vicarious cruise through Grey Lynn in the Jordan Cherrington-directed clip...
'Keke Boy' is out via all streaming services on Friday 27th March. Diggy Dupé's debut album is due out later this year.
