Philly avant-folk songwriter (Sandy) Alex G aka Alex Giannascoli has dropped a jazzy instrumental number out of the blue, accompanied by a poetic short story. 'Rosebush' features Giannascoli's brother David Allen Scoli on saxophone, violinist Molly Germer and bass player John Heywood (not the sixteenth century playwright).
