Listen To Thousand Limbs' Three Track 'Mara' EP

Tāmaki Makaurau sonic voyagers Thousand Limbs reemerge ahead of the Easter lockdown weekend with Mara, a three track instrumental epic recorded by Dave Rhodes at Devonport's Depot Sound Recording Studio. Ten minute plus lead track 'Void' immerses listeners in swirling storm clouds of bone-crunching riffage, settling intermittently into gorgeously reflective passages. Second tune 'Nephilim' ramps up the aural intensity to near operatic heights, while the closing title track initially showcases Thousand Limbs' more restrained side, before opening up the floodgates of awesomely heavy riff action...

"This album, like our last, is free from Bandcamp, and given how tight money is for so many, we encourage people to use the zero dollar option if they'd like to download.

However, anyone who had been in a position where they did intend to pay, we would ask that they instead consider giving whatever they would have spent on the EP, even if it's just a buck or two, to a charity providing food for people in need during the crisis.

Fair Food and The Auckland City Mission are two immediate ones that come to mind:
