Marlon Williams & Finn Andrews Chat In 'Under Cover' Web Series
Two of Aotearoa's highest ranking charmers feature in new musicians-in-conversation web series Under Cover. Finn Andrews of The Veils and Marlon Williams sat down for a chat from their respective bubbles, weeks after their plans to begin a stint of collaborative songwriting in Tāmaki Makaurau were abandoned for obvious reasons. The two artists discuss coffee preferences and punk parents between snippets of them each performing the other's songs – multiple cameras, fancy microphones, rodents and all. Andrews' covers 'Beautiful Dress' from Make Way For Love, and Williams launches into 'The Spirit In The Flame' after prefacing it with "I hope you don't hate whatever version of your song I come out with". Directed by Banished Music's Reuben Bonner, Under Cover: Artists In Isolation, In Conversation is a refreshing way to experience live music and artists interview – you can catch Finn Andrews on his long-awaited tour of Aotearoa this October...
