Watch Ryan Fisherman's Video For 'How Cool'

Ōtautahi pride and joy Ryan Fisherman aka Ryan Chin (Doprah, Nakey) is well on his way to releasing his album Vibe in the coming months, with fifth single 'How Cool' out today. The new song is filling the Doprah shaped hole in everyone's heart, as it was originally written for the now disbanded group and even features former members Indira Force and Matt Gunn. Refocussed now and with a Fisherman twist, 'How Cool' is still dark and sinister, but with 100% more folk and charming piano. If the song itself isn't a shining example of Canterbury talents, the Martin Sagadin directed video will blow your socks off. Fisherman has his long locks shaved right off by one of Christchurch's favourite hairdressers Miki Kuwahara, fitted out with 6x4 designer threads, and a sprawling Lyttelton Harbour back drop. This whole release screams Antipodean Gothic, while previous singles had one foot in the country music realm. Take a look and have a listen below...
