Tāmaki Makaurau songwriter and all round suave guy Alex Freer (Tiny Ruins) has rolled out his first new A.C. Freazy release in almost a year – the fruits of lockdown labour cooped up in his parents' house with all his studio gear. 'Margo' is as silky smooth as the slow zooms in the accompanying visuals, and as delightful as Freer's three different suits and Risky Business charm. Leonard Charles (Jeremy Toy of The Leonard Simpson Duo and She's So Rad) contributed the track's red hot blues guitar, leaning into the slick Flamenco-pop keys and that solid-as-a-rock breezy Freazy percussion.
