Listen To DROOR's New Album 'Winter Flowers'

C.C. / Monday 18th May, 2020 12:06PM

Tāmaki Makaurau master of melody Daniel Ward (The Sneaks, live drummer for Cate Le Bon) has revealed Winter Flowers, the long-teased latest album from his solo moniker DROOR. Evoking sunny daydreams from the very first note, Winter Flowers is a psych-infused guitar-pop delight written, played and recorded by Ward in his garden shed, with Justyn Pilbrow contributing rhythm guitar on the third track. The all-encompassing yet seemingly effortless catchiness of such numbers as 'Twenty More Fish in the Sea' and earlier single 'Waiting Our Lives Away' encourage minds to roam free and ponder pertinent topics including house plants, contrarianism and greed. Open up a window into DROOR's world right here...
