Isaac McFarlane (Two Cartoons, Hahko) launched Two Daze a couple years back in an effort to push Aotearoa musicians to experiment with new sounds and songwriting. This year the project has seen exponential growth, with four compilations featuring more than 30 artists and the songs they wrote and recorded in just 48 hours. The first two parts boast pop, rock and electronic tracks from Silas Futura, Leaping Tiger, Alexa Casino, Sulfate, Koizilla, ONONO and more, and round three and four keep up the high standard. On Two Daze 2020 Pt. 3 Green Grove have contributed smooth, atmospheric cut 'Call From Isthmus', in the same playlist as Lousia Nicklin's heartbreaking folk on 'The Same For You' and single 'It's Pink!' from the organiser himself, Hahko. Two Daze 2020 Pt. 4 kicks off with electric pop in 'Fever Dreams' by Lévyne, with stand-out tracks from Laura Lee Lovely, Lydia Cole and Mini Simmons.
