Aotearoa rock 'n' roll trailblazer Dion Lunadon (The D4, A Place To Bury Strangers) and LA artist Kate Clover have teamed up to put a bit of pep in your step with a fuzzed out new iso-anthem, inspired by the seemingly endless solitary days of lockdown. The passionate feelings expressed in 'When Will I Hold You Again' are sure to prompt memories of tricky times for the love-hungry amongst us, who were at the end of their tether a few weeks back. Hopefully now is a much different story, but Lunadon and Clover keep viewers pumped with a DIY workout video starring a huge cast of characters, directed, produced and sliced together by the New York City dwelling New Zealander. Out now for free via Lunadon's Bandcamp page, donations will be split between Campaign Zero, who work towards ending police brutality in America, and City Harvest, who help feed New Yorkers in need of food.

Dion Lunadon divulged the origins of his video and love for NYC: "This is for and about all the people around the world that can’t be with the ones they love, for the people that live by themselves, and most of all for the people of New York City.

My wife said “why don’t you get people to film themselves dancing in isolation and put together a video?” For me, being in isolation is not so bad, as I have a creative outlet. I liked the idea of being able to give others the chance to also do something creative and get the blood pumping, so I put word out that I needed dedicated groovers for a video and the response was great! Thank you to all the people that partook in it! Every one of the videos brought a smile to my face when watching them for the first time and wondering what to expect!"

Lunadon opened up via social media this morning about matching donations towards ending police brutality with the single: "A very strange time to releasing music. I’ve been trying to come up with ideas of how I could use this song to work and contribute to what’s going on right now with the civil rights movement. In today’s climate, with people trying to correct injustices that have gone on for far too long, what is the right thing to do? Here is how I have decided to contribute. “When Will I Hold You Again” is available for free on my Bandcamp , but donations are encouraged and will be split evenly between City Harvest , who help feed NYers in need of food, and CampaignZERO , who work towards ending police brutality. I’ve decided I will match your donations up to $1,000 - please share and help me reach my goal. Here is the link to download / donate. Just click on “Buy The Track” an insert any amount you would like to donate."

'When Will I Hold You Again' is out now via Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Spotify and iTunes.
