Imbued with a warm cosmic glow, 'Rosemary' is the latest in a winning run of singles from Dawn Diver, the psych / soul / funk project of Ben Lemi (Trinity Roots, Congress Of Animals) and friends. Named after Lemi's mother, who passed away when he was very young, 'Rosemary' offers a poetic reflection on their time spent together. Joined by Dawn Diver live band members Deanne Krieg (Whim) and Rose Blake (Blaek) on backing vocals, the Pōneke multi-instrumentalist weaves his personal story through a kaleidoscopic matrix of open-hearted grooves, celestial keys and alternately playful and tender guitar lines, anchored throughout by Lemi's gorgeous vocal tones.
