Stupid Rich Kid Drops Pop-Punk Track 'It's Alright (To Be Afraid)'

Annabel Kean / Friday 19th June, 2020 2:08PM

Aotearoa's Stupid Rich Kid shows his pop-punk side on 'It's Alright (To Be Afraid)', the first single from upcoming EP Stop Me From Thinking. The tempo is way up on this track compared to last year's collaborative sad-boy single 'Sparkler' with Church & AP, and screams 'Sparkler' energy. Stupid Rich Kid worded it like this: "I like dancey music and I like sad music and I tried to find a balance of that in this, to me this song is sort of a Blink 182 / My Bloody Valentine without the ageing". Enjoy a bit of 'It's Alright (To Be Afraid)' to go with that ruthless blow to the wrinkles...

Stupid Rich Kid's second EP 'Stop Me From Thinking' is on the horizon.
