Listen To 'Protest Music Vol. 1' Feat. Pulvinar, Thousand Limbs, Bulk Bogan + More

Chris Cudby / Monday 22nd June, 2020 11:49AM

It's been heartening to experience our music community mobilise in support of Black Lives Matter, with Nigerian-Kiwi rap artist / producer Mazbou Q co-organising the historic first Queen Street protest and speaking at the event on Monday 1st June, and artists across the country organising fundraisers and devoting their platforms to help share relevant info. Protest Music Vol. 1 is a nineteen track fundraiser compilation from ProtestMusicNZ featuring the ear-bleeding sounds of local artists Pulvinar, Thousand Limbs, Bulk Bogan, P Wits and many more, released on Friday 19th June aka Juneteenth – an annual holiday commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. All funds raised from the collection will be split between a number of crucial causes via ActBlue, head over here for more info and to make your contribution, and take in the intensity below...
