Tim Heidecker Reveals Single / Video 'Fear Of Death' Ft. Weyes Blood

Tim & Eric funny guy and part-time musician Tim Heidecker promises his follow-up record to What The Brokenhearted Do… is totally, pinky-swear serious this time. It's called Fear Of Death, and will be out in full morbid glory on Friday 25th September, featuring an impressive cast of collaborators including members of Weyes Blood, The Lemon Twigs, Foxygen and Trey Pollard. Heidecker has shared the title track along with an in-studio video shot on 16mm film, which upon watching you'd be quite right to be sceptical of its sincerity - silly faces, music video tropes, and Weyes Blood's Natalie Mering clearly holding back a giggle. The song itself is a warm and catchy mix of pop-rock and psych, with cold, joyless lyrics resigning to the inevitability of death and giving up on personal growth.
