Robitaille) is what’s required to kick us out of housebound mope-mode, while retaining healthy levels of righteous anger. Calling to mind the strident spoken wordplay of 80s punk-poet Anne Clark, Davidson’s ‘Renegade Breakdown’ is biting political commentary set to a pulsing groove, with slap-funk bass and gloriously melodramatic guitars right out of a VHS streetwise thriller.
