P.H.F. Reveals Videos For 'More / Marsh' + Title Track To 'New Metal' Album

P.H.F.'s release schedule has been prolific as ever in 2020. His career spanning Anthology compilation and June's (now unavailable) nine track fundraiser RARE (Unreleased & Demos) were both must-cop collections, plus he's kept us on our toes with such killer singles as 'Good Girl' and 'Sorry', but it's been a minute since we've heard a full blown studio album from iconoclastic Tāmaki songwriter and producer Joe Locke. That's all about to change with P.H.F.'s long-teased upcoming record New Metal, out digitally in early October and officially announced to the world with the double single drop of 'More / Marsh' (not the earlier demo version) and the title track, along with videos for both tunes directed by Luca Piscopo and even a supremely stylish new website for fans to explore, created by Lizzie Klein. New Metal is available for preorder on limited edition vinyl via the artist's Bandcamp page and Piscopo's videos for P.H.F.'s latest anthems are stunning works of art in themselves — you can experience 'More / Marsh' and the vibey title track below, and catch him playing at The Others Way 2020 this September.

P.H.F. shared his thoughts around New Metal: “I think this is the most complex and ‘mature’ album maybe... It feels like a good combination of all the sounds or phases I have gone through musically, so it's a good summation of the music I like to make.”
