Good Sad Happy Bad (FKA Micachu and The Shapes) Share Debut Single 'Shades'

UK avant-pop artist and acclaimed composer of soundtracks for Under The Skin and Jackie, Mica Levi's group Micachu and The Shapes have morphed musical identities and renamed themselves Good Sad Happy Bad, with Levi now focussing on instrumentation and Raisa Khan taking up lead vocalist duties. Ensuring continuity between projects, Good Sad Happy Bad are named after the freshly rebranded band's previous 2015 album, in a move recalling the Shihad / Pacifier transition of yore. Good Sad Happy Bad re-announce themselves to the world with woozy debut single 'Shades', a relatively straight ahead dream / jangle-pop number in comparison some of the earlier moniker's wonky tracks, but still packing plenty of happily off-kilter sonics once it gets rolling. There's a bleached-out accompanying clip to vibe to as well, for the first tune revealed from Good Sad Happy Bad's debut album Shades and Shades (launching in mid-October), check out 'Shades' here...
