
M0ppy Drops Single 'Ghost Steps' + Announces Auckland 'MYOPIA' Show
The solo electronic moniker of the multi-talented Thom Burton (Guardian Singles, SoccerPractise, Wilberforces), M0ppy leaps back into action following his student radio chart-topping Randa collab 'Bad Jelly' with brand new track 'Ghost Steps', plus a just-announced headline gig at Tāmaki Makaurau's The Wine Cellar this coming Friday. Clocking in at just over nine minutes, the appropriately spectral 'Ghost Steps' envelops listeners in a foggy wash of smeary synths, ambient guitars and delicate beat-scapes. Moppy invites you to the Wine Cellar this Friday September the 18th for a live performance of his forthcoming album Myopia.
Moppy is the solo project of Thom Burton [Guardian Singles, SoccerPractise, Wilberforces]. Since 2010, he has released three full-length albums and earlier this year released the EP Enemy of Progress. Most recently he collaborated with the inimitable Randa for the single Bad Jelly.
