Busy making music on the other side of the world, Berlin-based shoegazers No Romance (aka Gonegonegone) have sent their second single 'Television' our way, following up debut 'Assume'. Harking from Tāmaki Makaurau, trio Isaac Hickey (Bad Timing, Astro Children), Joel Ivan Thomas, and vocalist Lucy Holiday wrote the song a year back, reflecting on the glorious distraction that is TV. Holiday's fuzzed-out, synth riff is echoed by twangy guitar, almost too peppy for a song about succumbing to the screen to forget the numbness of reality.
