We've all felt dusty at various times or even just the other day, wishing we'd chugged down some Powerade before hitting the hay to stave off the brutal after-effects of an epic night on the razz. The Phoenix Foundation know that feeling well and have unleashed what may be their most relatable song yet with 'Decision Dollars', a collaboration with Hollie Fullbrook (Tiny Ruins) and the latest tune unveiled from the Pōneke gang's long awaited latest album Friend Ship. Handling lead vocal duties on the woozy new power ballad, Luke Buda pours every drop of emotion into 'Decision Dollars' — accompanied by a swanky karaoke style clip created by audio-visual wizard Luke Rowell (Eyeliner, Disasteradio) with support from NZ On Air, encouraging us all to join Buda on his hung over tale of woe. He yearns for an "ice cold Coca Cola" while I recommend you try a cool refreshing 50/50 blend of orange juice and Sprite to get you physically and psychically back on track. We're guessing 'Decision Dollars' may well be a fave anthem for the band on their forthcoming Friend Ship tour, hitting venues throughout Aotearoa this November...
