Swampland Drop Single / Video 'Cheatin' Girl' + Announce Auckland Show
Lovers of blistering rock 'n' roll will be stoked to hear Swampland have re-emerged to take care of business, with long-awaited debut album Sinners finally set to drop in May 2021. They're playing an in-the-red extravaganza with depraved garage punks Warm Leather and Daniel Armstrong & The Monsoons at Auckland's Point Chevalier RSA on 14th November, celebrating today's launch of Swampland's first single from the record 'Cheatin Girl'. A classic tale of love on the rocks, served up with a hefty dose of cheeky R'n'R swagger, the hook-packed track releases alongside a green-screened DIY clip guaranteed to zap your mind. Led by Tony Daunt, who got the Swampland ball rolling back in 2012, the band's lineup currently features Jamie Vodanavich on bass, Rik Fisk on lead guitar / backing vocals, and Sean Rundle handling drums and backing vocals duties. Don't miss these live legends tearing it up on stage this month.
“Jamie and Sean (Rundle) are the strongest rhythm section. They fit together like a glove, I don't think they have ever had a conversation about how they do what they do, they just do it - This new Swampland album is Rock’n’Roll!" - Tony Daunt
