Dolphin Friendly Reveal Single / Video 'Killing Silence'
Ōtautahi shredders and sea-life advocates Dolphin Friendly break the ice with brand new ripper 'Killing Silence' and a fired-up video to boot. The four-piece have been honing their psych-rock craft for two years now, and have racked up EPs Preashology and Tunes From The Tuna Can, with 2020 taking their sound into gruntier, heavier territory. 'Killing Silence' is the outcome of the Dolphin Friendly boys feeling compelled to acknowledge systemic racism in Aotearoa, and the track heads down paths of anger, revolt, and momentum for change. Wade McClelland's visual treatment does not beat around the bush, launching the viewers into quick cuts between archival protest footage and the band rocking out with glitchy fire and lightning graphics. Out now on Pōneke label MEOW, 'Killing Silence' is a powerful blend of heavy rock, rap, and psychedelic pop. Listen below...
'Killing Silence' is out now via major streaming services.
