As the year comes to a close the weekends become increasingly jam-packed with dream line-ups and festive knees-ups, so much so that it can be a tough task trying to decide which venue to hit. Although, anyone in Pōneke hankering for a dream-pop romp would have cleared their Friday evening schedules for Glass Vaults at Meow, celebrating their Sounds That Sound Like Music LP with support from the brilliant Soft Plastics crew. In conversation with front man Richard Larsen the other week, he said the band have an important tradition of starting the day with flat whites and breakfast muffins, giving them the pep for dance party sets on every night of their Aotearoa tour.
