Capping off a significant year that included the launch of their fearsome debut EP Messianic in March, Dark Divinity were taking no prisoners when they stormed the stage at Pōneke metal hub Valhalla on Friday, playing alongside doom merchants Planet Of The Dead — who dropped their bone-rattling debut album Fear Of A Dead Planet back in February.
