The Chills Return With New Single 'You're Immortal'

Swooping in as the curtain starts to close on this diabolical year, Ōtepoti music legend Martin Phillipps and his long-running project The Chills are back with a lush new tune in advance of a suite of summer shows. With a huge cinematic intro sounding not unlike entering the halls of the gods, 'You're Immortal' casts Phillipps' celestial gaze upon our indomitable younger generations, as the artist explained...
"These are unprecedented times but, as usual, the young feel invulnerable and the elders are concerned. The old people (like me) want to feel more involved but they also know that their time of influence has largely passed.So we learn from the young and admire them as they make their own mistakes yet still, hopefully, shape extraordinary history we could not have imagined."
'You're Immortal' is out now on major streaming platforms via Fire Records.
