Watch DUAL's Beachside Clip For 'Honey'

Tāmaki based duo DUAL's star has soared up and up since I first heard them in 2016, and the first-class quality of their latest audio / visual release is a shining example of the heights they've reached. 'Honey' is one of six punchy electronic tracks on their EP Lately I Don't Know, which came out in full in December, their second EP and the follow up to 2017's self-titled collection. Driving home the sunny overtones in 'Honey', the glam clip was shot beachside in LA by directorial duo Cooper Roussel and Dimitri Basil, and features runner / dancer Mollie Papouloute in cinematic grain and pastels. Made with support from NZ On Air, the video tells the story of Papouloute facing an invisible foe on her leisurely jog, which I assume is a metaphor for the pain and unpleasantness of running for exercise. Will she power through? Do her dance outbursts help her defeat the 'wall' she has hit? Find out below...
