The latest in fresh crop of buzzy math-rock / no-wavey outfits to emerge from the UK, Squid have announced their debut album Bright Green Field is dropping this May via international tastemakers WARP. Teaming up with guest vocalist Martha Skye Murphy for the record's newly released lead single 'Narrator', Squid draw inspiration for their fractal-like funk from director Bi Gan's 2018 film Long Day's Journey Into Night — performing in the midst of sublime virtual landscapes, that shift from dazzling to decaying in Felix Geen's eye-popping accompanying visuals...
'Bright Green Field' releases on Friday 7th May via WARP.
