Ruling student radio airwaves whenever they drop a new track, South London post-punks Goat Girl launch today On All Fours, the long-awaited sequel to their breakout 2018 self-titled debut album. Created during a time when guitarist / vocalist Ellie Rose Davies was undergoing chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma (just before Covid struck), On All Fours conveys an expressive urgency in its consideration of politics both personal and global. Goat Girl's diverse synth-infused sound traverses motorik jangle-pop, fuzzy / chunky riff tangles, library music funk and even Stereolab-esque neo-exotica with compelling ease on the new record — tuck in here...
