Listen To Zoe Moon's Debut Solo Single 'Bubbles'
Hawaii-born, Pōneke-based artist Zoe Moon (Brockaflower) has a voice that permeates deep into your chest, constantly surprising with vocal quirks and flourishes. Her debut solo song 'Bubbles' isn't as light as the title suggests, or as picture perfect as Moon's velvety voice makes it out to be. It's about her late twin sister Sachi and the bubble they created around the two of them in their formative years, and it'll give you chills. She wrote 'Bubbles' in 2019 and spent much of lockdown polishing the song in her own bubble and exploring "how that very first partnership continues to guide the connections that I form, whether it be with friends, lovers, or family". If her debut song sounds far from inexperienced, it's because Zoe Moon already has years of performing under her belt with Estère, her sister Deva Mahal, Louis Baker, Brockaflower and even more of Aotearoa's biggest voices. Find Zoe Moon on stage for Estère's extensive Archetypes release tour through February and March, in the stacked Cubadupa lineup, and live this Sunday for her special Valentine's day single release show at Wellington's San Fran...
