Neil Finn's recently rejuvenated Crowded House are definitely making the most of Aotearoa's uniquely thriving live scene, currently touring the nation before the launch of their seventh studio album Dreamers Are Waiting. Now more than ever a family affair, the team of Neil Finn with sons Liam and Elroy (whose self-titled debut album was a quiet highlight of 2019), longtime Crowded House member Nick Seymour and famed production maestro Mitchell Froom delivered the singalong hits to a rapt Pōneke audience at TSB Arena last night, as part of their ongoing To The Island tour.
