Those glorious titans of real-time VHS technology Chabs And Milky broke the boundaries of livestream entertainment this time last year, and today they flip the script again with the announcement of Goin' Live With Chabs And Milky: LIVE. Come late May, James Dansey and James Milne will be taking their '80s telecast gadgets to Pōneke, Tāmaki, Ōtautahi and Ōtepoti, highlighting a trio of local talents at each stop, including The Phoenix Foundation, Princess Chelsea, Ben Woods, The Bats and many more. If joining the "seething mass of their friends, whānau and fans" and seeing how the sausage is made isn't for you, the Jameses will still be sending the pixels to the internet, where you can watch it from the comfort of your own home just like in lockdown. “Humble heroes of Aotearoa’s music community” (Under The Radar), Chabs and Milky, are delighted to announce an incredible lineup of touring livestreams around the country at the end of May and beginning of June.

If you’re in the four main centres, you can attend these broadcasts in person, or alternatively watch them streaming live on Goin’ Live With Chabs And Milky’s YouTube channel, captured on vintage VHS camcorders from the 1980s.
