Park Rd Drop Single / Video 'Control'

Surf-rock whippersnappers Park Rd have rolled out their first single of 2021 'Control' and shared a whirlwind Tāmaki Makaurau rainy night video made with support from NZ On Air. The track lands in the wake of the band being labelled as Vodafone Ones To Watch, having played a sold out Tuning Fork show and joined last summer's Rhythm & Vines bill, and is the first release in Park Rd's "next chapter". 'Control' was produced by Josh Edmonds, who's worked with DUAL, Paige and Eleven7four, and the band's lead vocalist Tom Chamberlain explained “it is about new beginnings. In the song, I’m waking up from a dull muddy period of my life and feeling like I’m seeing things for the first time. I’m rediscovering my wonder”.
