Sleater-Kinney Return With Single / Video 'Worry With You' + Announce New Album
Sleater-Kinney's 2019 album The Center Won't Hold (produced by St. Vincent) was polarising to say the least, greeted by fans with both effusive praise and head-scratching bewilderment for its glammed-up sonics. Now a duo of co-founders Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein since the departure of longterm drummer Janet Weiss, Sleater-Kinney take a refreshingly stripped back tack on their new single 'Worry With You', the first tune revealed from the veteran US group's forthcoming new album Path Of Wellness. Recorded in 2020 during quarantine, the long player is the band's first self-produced record in a career spanning multiple decades. Catchy and sleek from the outset, 'Worry With You' launches with an intimate visual scenario tipping the hat to last year's lockdown madness, directed by Alberta Poon and starring Fabi Reyna (founder and editor-in-chief of She Shreds Magazine) and Megan Watson, with TV appearances from Tucker and Brownstein snuck in there too...
'Path Of Wellness' launches on Friday 11th June via Mom + Pop.
