PollyHill Shares Sophomore EP ‘Post Humorous’
Paloma Schneideman aka PollyHill has had tracks in NZ student charts almost non-stop since first stepping onto the scene, including the occasional collaboration and two Post Humorous EP singles 'Sweepstake' and 'Chilly'. I reckon PollyHill settles further into her own unique sound on her sophomore EP, achieving a delicious balance between self-deprecation and self-assurance, book-ended by the vulnerability of 'Morse Code', 'Unloveable'. From opening track onwards themes of un-learning and chosen family punch through Post Humorous, like lyrics "Got all the fans I need though and I put that on my chosen fam, the ones who held a space for me and if they had to call me out they always did it gracefully".
