Dimmer Announce New Shows For 'I Believe You Are A Star' Nationwide Tour
To the surprise of most likely very few UTR readers, tickets for Dimmer's I Believe You Are A Star 20th Anniversary Tour have been flying out the door at a breakneck pace. Announced only last Monday, Tāmaki Makaurau's show has already sold out and Te Whanganui-a-Tara is mere inches away from doing the same, so thankfully Dunedin icon Shayne P. Carter has done North Island fans a solid by announcing new headline dates in the super city and our windswept capital for this coming September.
Celebrating two decades since the launch of Dimmer's landmark debut album, Carter has assembled a stellar band to perform songs from I Believe You Are A Star, touring throughout Aotearoa in September and October. Joined by Dimmer veterans Gary Sullivan (JPSE) and James Duncan, Carter's live band also includes Dimmer engineer / co-producer Nick Roughan (Skeptics) on keyboards and electronics, Louisa Nicklin, Neive Strang and Die Die Die bassist Lachlan Anderson. We recommend you do not snooze on securing your spot at these historic musical events and note these will be the only Ōtautahi and Ōtepoti shows announced for the tour — updated details below...
