The LEON singles are rolling in thick and fast, with 'Y.O.T.D.', 'TAKE YOU NOW' and the latest 'OFF THE WALL' sprouting up over the past three weeks with no signs of stopping — that is until album CHERRY is out in full next weekend. LEON is the new solo project of Flying Nun alum and Ghost Wave founder Matthew L. Paul, who's taken a shine to eclectic pop songwriting, existing somewhere between Tame Impala and Gorillaz with dance-ready, stacked percussion from Ghost Wave bandmate Eammon Malcolm Saban Logan (Malcolm S, Team Cat Food), and catchy synth licks that'll get under your skin. Clearly not mucking around, not only is LEON's debut album CHERRY out next Saturday, he's also been cooking up a storm on his Youtube channel with Cooking In Sunglasses.
