Raiden Freeman Announces 'Stay Sharp' Album Release Tour + Unveils Single / Video
Aotearoa underground enigma Raiden Freeman aka Jack Mells (The Scrussian) has a new album rolling out in mid-August via the champs at Prison Tapes, to be celebrated with a rare run of North Island launch events. Entitled Stay Sharp, the long player's latest single 'Low Self Esteem Is A Symptom Of Narcissism' has been revealed along with an accompanying cinematic creation filmed / collaged together by Mells — a visual commentary upon and counterpoint to the song's stylistically diverse yet always on-point musings. Raiden Freeman will be supported by friends and admirers including P.H.F., Ludus, Skymning, DJFK and more in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. We're keen to see how the record's release unfolds, as the artist candidly stated online: "my album rollout is very Kanye inspired i.e. I'm very obviously making it up as I go along".
