Ty Segall Drops New Album 'Harmonizer'

Ty Segall Drops New Album 'Harmonizer'

Chris Cudby / Wednesday 4th August, 2021 11:27AM

Once seemingly tied with King Gizzard in an epic competition for the crown of "world's most prolific recording artist," Ty Segall ambushed fans this morning with the surprise launch of Harmonizer, the US multi-instrumentalist's first new solo album in a whopping two years. Infamous for his smokin' hot skills on guitar, Segall digs out the synths for Harmonizer, finding groovy spaces to hang between fuzzy garage punk / glam rock mania and retro-futuristic electronic pulse action — recorded aptly enough at his new Harmonizer Studios. 'Harmonizer' is out now on major streaming services + vinyl LP, cassette and CD via Drag City.
