As is customary for music-making emo kids, Tāmaki multi-instrumentalist Emmanuelle is filling the gloomiest months with absolutely gut-punching tunes, from the reveal of their debut album Cult Classic in the early days of Autumn, to last month's 'Sickness Unto Death', and now new single and video 'Pills 4 Sunday'. The track is expertly composed and packed with cinematic strings, acoustic guitar, too close for comfort vocals and not much else, which will have you hanging on to every raw lyric sung by Emmanuel Sarmiento (Blush Juliet).
