Absolutely filled to the brim with free coffee and biscuits, Tāmaki supergroup Guardian Singles took over the Ellen Melville Centre last year for 95bFM's Drive Island series, showcased in newly released live footage of the free mid-winter event. Fronted by a buzzing Thom Burton (Wilberforces, SoccerPractise) on guitar, Durham Fenwick (Green Grove) shreds and rhythm section Fiona Campbell (Vivian Girls, Chain and The Gang, Coolies) and Yolanda Fagan (Na Noise, BOZO) rock along to featured tracks 'Tea Lights Exploding' and 'Being Alone', both stand out singles from their self-titled debut album.
