Sacred Reich and Vio-Lence NZ Shows Postponed
Metal maniacs across Aotearoa will have to wait a little longer than was first envisioned to experience the sonic onslaught of US thrash legends Sacred Reich and Vio-Lence live on our shores. Originally announced all the way back in August 2019, both bands' hugely anticipated October gigs in Tāmaki Makaurau and Pōneke with local heroes Bulletbelt have been rescheduled to new dates yet to be announced — all UTR ticket holders will be emailed direct with updated details.
"Due to the continuing uncertainty with lockdowns and travel restrictions we unfortunately have to postpone our New Zealand dates again. We are definitely looking forward to returning so hang on to your tickets! We will make it worth the wait!" — Phil Rind, Sacred Reich
Here's the low down direct from the organisers: "Sacred Reich, Vio-lence YCSS and Valhalla Touring, are all sorry to confirm that we have to postpone the planned shows in October 2021 to a date when things are more safer and borders have reopened. As we speak, touring has opened up overseas, New Zealand is not far behind, but with all these snap lockdowns and border closures, this current climate is just too risky for the bands, and of course YOU, the fans!!!! Not just for health and safety reasons, but also due to the risk of another snap lockdown, the uncertainty is too risky. With vaccinations now rolling out, we hopefully won't be too far behind the rest of the world and we can get back to Thrashing it out . . looking like within the next 12 months. Please hold on to your ticket, it will remain valid for the new shows."
