Watch Imugi 이무기's Video For 'Portals'

Stars of the very first episode of our UTR Trash Recital series with Sports Team (go check out the whole series here), Tāmaki Makaurau duo Imugi 이무기 share on this sunny spring day new visuals for 'Portals', a standout track from their debut Dragonfruit EP. Created by Casey Yeoh and made with support from NZ On Air, if the hazy video for 'Portals' doesn't make you pine for blazed summer days and nights, you're gonna need to check your pulse. Embodying the song's atemporal lyrical reflections, the cosmic clip opens up windows to different moments in time for Yery Cho and Carl Ruwhiu, who are all set to unleash a remix collection of Dragonfuit in early September. Director Casey Yeoh explains...

“We filmed this video across many sections, an accumulation of portals in our lives as we wanted to express the fantasies buzzing in and out of this world to mirror the song... In the outro, the biggest portal of all is a music video we shot on our camcorder three years ago that never came out. Perhaps one day we will release it, but for now it’s existence lies in Portals only.”
