Did somebody say fresh Shrimp? Rick Shrimp that is — the Tāmaki-based, Serbian musical entertainer who boogied his way into our hearts with July's St Petersburg / Ultraviolet EP. Shrimp is back, bringing a whole lot of pizzazz to your Friday lunchtime and beyond with his new Richard II EP. Reflective opener 'You Never Say Arrivederci' feels like a mid-morning gaze out of an upstairs apartment window at the sparkling waters of Auckland City's Hauraki Gulf, second number 'Remembrance' brings the office chair funk while stirring dreamy memories of yesteryear, while frisky closer 'So Long Baby' settles into a killer groove that never outstays its welcome over nearly nine minutes.
