The Dead C Unveil Two Track 'Horror Stories' EP

Aotearoa free noise pioneers The Dead C have reemerged with a new two track EP titled Horror Stories, released on September 11 in sync with the 20th anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks. Renowned across the globe yet enshrined in mystery, the iconic Port Chalmers trio of Morley, Russell and Yeats carve out slow-crawling sound-shapes of droning guitar, scattergun percussion and close mic-ed vocals on the title track, while 'The Horse, A Wall, The Island' initially adopts an alert, more 'rocking' stance — peeling listeners' brains with piercing tones and unsettling croon, before decaying into a ghost-like fog...
