OPN and Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins) Unveil 'Tales From The Trash Stratum'
US electronic innovator Daniel Lopatin aka Oneohtrix Point Never has unveiled a collaboration with dream-pop legend Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins, with hypnagogic accompanying official visuals by influential design guru Robert Beatty. The new version of 'Tales From The Trash Stratum' will appear on a special expanded Blu-ray Edition of OPN's 2020 odyssey Magic Oneohtrix Point Never, launching in late October. Now mixed in Dolby Atmos® spatial audio, the forthcoming collection includes four bonus songs, including collabs with PC Music's AG Cook and ROSALIA. Beatty's video smooshes together richly textured natural film imagery with animated retro-futuristic abstract geometry, in an evocative manner that feels familiar yet startlingly fresh, topped off by a font inspired by Little House On The Prairie — watch / listen below...
