Listen To Two Singles From Auckland's Scar Vision
Keeping on the down low since the 2018 drop of their debut single 'Ships', Tāmaki Makaurau's Scar Vision have reemerged with two raw-edged tracks, released recently over on the group's Bandcamp page. Founded by former The Neverends members Jasper De Roos and Ant Waters with friends Sam Moore (Memory Foam, Bad Energy) and Dave Holmes, Scar Vision's 'For Hire' fuses together intensely propulsive grooves, zig-zagging guitar lines and terse yells with explosive outbursts of tangled strings, while catchy bruiser 'Ambush' pushes the band's fist-pumping qualities to the fore, sounding urgent and anthemic while letting rip with impressively abrasive walls of distortion — recalling to these ears the form-destroying tones of US noise-punks Sightings. We're betting these songs will sound awesome live too, listen up below and stay tuned for more new material in the near future...
'Ambush' and 'For Hire' are out now on major streaming services.
