The project of Tauranga-based singer / multi-instrumentalist Kyle Sattler, We Will Ride Fast have reemerged with a fuzzy psychedelic garage-pop nugget ideal for revving up your Friday. Following rapidly in the slipstream of February's eight song Emotional Molecules collection, catchy new single 'Bulletproof' is entirely written, recorded and performed by Sattler. He also conjured into reality the tune's accompanying video, starring himself as a door-knocking evangelist (for "The Church Of Fight Cave Or Hole Records") who enters portals to marvellous and bewildering new dimensions. With an all-encompassing artistic vision not unlike a Prince Rogers Nelson of the Bay Of Plenty, Sattler sees his new video work as a facet of his broader multimedia art practice: “I've come to a stage of my creative career where I no longer see a difference between experience driven postmodern installation art and the existential machinations of any performing musician”.
