Miss Leading Shares New Single 'Self Help'
A few months on from releasing her debut album Minor Thing, Miss Leading shares bouncy bonus track 'Self Help'. On the new drop, Pōneke artist and Eastern Sound Collective founder Nadia Freeman uses her locally made Synthstrom Deluge and spoken-word lyrics to bite back at the nasty side of the self-improvement industry. Miss Leading runs through all the usual systemic issues that Big Self Help blame the individual for; Poor? Work harder! Stupid? Read a book! Not only a commentary on the self-improvement world profiting off our insecurities, 'Self Help' is probably doing more good by simply being an up tempo electronic track to move your body to. Miss Leading is on the tour buzz this month, with Napier, Rotorua and Ōtepoti shows on the horizon...
